Hello! I am glad you stopped in! As you know, my name is Craig Nels. As a lifelong resident of Upstate, NY, I have had the privilege of learning how to fish our great local waters. Through my tournament fishing, I also have been fortunate enough to travel much of the country sampling other state's fishing. I can tell you this...we are LUCKY to have such a variety of great fishing opportunities.
As much as personally catching fish, I love seeing others enjoy our great fishing resources, which is what brings me to guiding today! While I mainly target bass, both largemouth and smallmouth, I enjoy the thrill of catching most any of our area's fish. I am sure you will too. As I guide, I will strive to not only keep you in and around fish, but I will also try and teach about "why" and "where" we are fishing that day. Fishing is much more than just casting and reeling, and I enjoy the process of teaching others about the many details of the sport.

You will be fishing aboard a 2009 Ranger Z520 powered by a Yamaha 250 Outboard. The electric motor is a MinnKota with 101lbs of thrust. The Sonar and GPS duties are taken care of by Lowrance and Humminbird electronics.
